About Me

I’m a senior staff nurse in the Emergency Department at St Thomas Hospital, living and working in South London. I’m a socialist activist and trade unionist who thinks working people should not have to suffer brutal austerity for a crisis caused by the banks and the inhumane economic system we live under. I am Branch Secretary of Unite at Guys and St Thomas Hospitals, LE/7101L.

I was born and brought up in Hong Kong, before moving to the UK in 2004 to study. I did a degree in Political Studies at Leeds University before deciding to train as a nurse. I have worked and trained in the NHS since 2008.

As a qualified nurse, I am committed to defending and improving the NHS, radicalising and democratising our unions and furthering the struggle for a socialist world free from inequality, injustice and oppression.

I served as Chair of Staff side for Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust from 2021-2025. I am currently Staff side Secretary at the Trust.

I am currently a member of the London & Eastern Regional Industrial Sector Committee for Health, and have served on both the Health National Industrial Sector Committee and RISC in the past.

I am a supporter of Anti-Capitalist Resistance
